Kirby Muxloe Archery Club (KMAC) is an archery club based in Leicestershire, UK. KMAC dates back to 1978 when the Kirby Muxloe Village Sports Club wrote to the Leicestershire and Rutland County Archery Association (LRCAA) to enquire whether an archery club could be formed in Kirby Muxloe, to complement the sports already on offer. This new family-oriented club rose from the ashes of an earlier Kirby Muxloe club that had folded some 20-30 years earlier. KMAC is now a thriving club that continues this tradition of being a friendly, inclusive, family-oriented, and welcoming archery club.

KMAC is based across two locations. Our outdoor season is at Jubilee Fields in Markfield (April-September) and our indoor season is at Brookvale College in Groby (October-March). You can find our session times on our homepage here.

We cater to archers for which shooting is simply a weekly relaxation or family evening out, and those who aspire to shoot competitively. We have many coaches and experienced members who can aid you on your archery journey. KMAC also has a thriving junior group that meets every Saturday morning.

We have a wonderful variety of members of all ages and backgrounds. Most of our members shoot recurve bows, but we have a growing number of members shooting Compound, Barebow and Longbow. We use straw bosses both indoor and out.

KMAC is affiliated with Archery GB and LRCAA. All KMAC members are required to be a member of Archery GB; this is included in our annual club membership.
